Enquiry form
When you send an enquiry through the form on our website we collect your name, email address, postcode and the message you write. We use this information only to reply to your enquiry and to arrange work where you ask us to.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. We do not sell your personal data. This website is hosted on WordPress.com (Automattic) and uses Jetpack, so your data is processed on their systems as part of hosting, security and site statistics. Their privacy policy is at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Enquiry emails are received in our email account. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

Enquiry form submissions and the emails they generate are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to keep records of work carried out, and are then deleted. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically.

What rights you have over your data

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
